Q: What is your current position at Russco?
A: Bid Coordinator, IT Technician, and Warehouse support
Q: How long have you worked for Russco?
A: I am going on my 11th year
Q: Can you recall the exact moment you knew you wanted to work in the construction industry?
A: I knew when I first started working for Russco, I was 21 young and dumb, but seeing the possibility and the growth in this industry really opened my eyes and I became attached and have never looked back.
Q: If you could get rid of one state, which would it be and why?
A: New York, as a New Englander I hate their sports teams!
Q: What has been your biggest achievement at Russco?
A: Helping others learn the craft and seeing them blossom. I have a team mentality sort of like Lebron James never about myself but more about the company. I love that we can ALL grow and prosper together.
Q: What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
A: I think about if anyone is watching me sing along to the music.
Q: Do you believe in the boogey man?
A: Yes, I do, when I was young I would hear noises coming from my closet which lead me to believe that a boogey man was indeed a thing.
Q: Russco offers you CEO for the day, what would you do?
A: First decision would be to replace the shades in the windows at the Main Office, the sun can be brutal when setting. Second I would close up between 12-1 and give everyone a mental break from being behind their computers or walls (Glass in this case). Third thing I would change is not enough sweets in the office! I have a sweet tooth and could use more candy around.
Q: Which two celebrities would you pick to be your parents?
A: Tough choice, how about Beyonce as my mother and Kid Rock as my Dad!
Q: What major evolutions do you foresee for the construction industry?
A: I foresee technology becoming more and more involved in everyday operations. Tools will be more computerized in years to come which should limit deficiencies and mistakes.
Q: Three things you can't live without - excluding people...
A: Chinese food, Oreo’s and Reese's Peanut Butter cups!
Q: What advice would you give a new Bid Coordinator starting with Russco?
A: Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise!
Q: What’s your favorite tool?
A: My favorite tool is the table saw, helps with building smaller projects around the backyard or house.
Q: Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
A: As much as I love sweets I do not like licorice such as Twizzlers.
