Meet Angelo! Spotlight Interview with Russco's Project Manager

Q: What is your current position at Russco?

A: Construction Project Manager

Q: How long have you worked for Russco?

A: 5 Years

Q: Can you recall the exact moment you knew you wanted to work in the construction industry?

A: When I was very young always interested in construction. When I would pass a construction site I would need to stop and look. I remember when the original Twin Towers were going up and stopping to see the excavation going on.

Q: Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer?

A: I’m a hunter. Sports taught me to be aggressive and take chances. Taught me dedication and leadership skills. Always competing.

Q: What's the one thing you've built that you've been proudest of?

A: Renovation of my house installing new doors, base board, wood flooring, bathroom fixtures. I’m proud because I accomplished something on my own.

Q: You step outside the office tomorrow and find a winning $15-million-dollar lottery ticket, what do you do?

A: I would contact a lawyer and see how I could find the rightful owner, if that person couldn’t be found in time to collect the winnings; I would then submit the ticket on my behalf.

Q: Do you believe in aliens?

A: Yes. As scientist make new discoveries in our solar system and beyond, it’s hard to believe there isn’t life somewhere else. Life maybe not as we perceive it but there has to be some form of life.

Q: What major evolutions do you foresee for the construction industry?

A: Advances in technology, tools, and materials. Conceptualization of models, 3D. The goal would be to reduce construction time and costs.

Q: Who would win a fight between Spiderman and Batman?

A: Spiderman.

Q: What advice would you give a new Project Manager starting with Russco?

A: Apply yourself to your trade everyday, listen intently to everyone you come in contact with, and always strive to do better.

Q: Three things you can't live without - excluding people...

A: Food, Water, Companionship.

Q: What is your favorite tool?

A: The PC Computer. You have the power at your finger tips. You can download programs for almost any job description. Drawing, painting, photography, 3D, Language. You can google anything you want to know without going to the library.

Q: Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

A: I’m a private person that keeps to himself.
